Graphs drafted at the beginning of 2013 illustrate how most states in the US now allow underage drinking to happen at the family's consent, the location's consent, or both. Compared to previous years, the number of laws prohibiting this phenomenon have steadily decreased, while laws permitting them are on the rise. Most of the laws permitting underage drinking under certain circumstances are in the West.
